Number 1. Check for an outage on Google's part
The first step in the diagnosis is to check whether there is an outage on Google's side.
Step 1. Open another web browser on your PC/Laptop.

Step 3. In the search bar, type in ‘Google‘.
You will now see whether there is an outage at Google's end. If there is an outage, then just stay put until they fix the issues, and then you will see Chrome and other Google services working as expected.
